Play surrounds the child with wonder, leading them on, testing their body and mind. Play lets a child try out roles and learn new things, people skills, language and concepts.

Children are individuals and should be treated as such. Therefore, we as educators should provide a safe and caring environment for the child’s needs, supporting their growth through sound practices, and to individualise developmentally appropriate activities and games both outdoors and indoors that cover all developmental areas.
